Post Now taking band submissions for FLMF 2011!
WE ARE NOW TAKING BAND SUBMISSIONS FOR FINGER LAKES METAL FEST 2011! SUBMIT YOUR BAND TODAY!
2 stages, 20 bands, and camping! May 21, 2011!
Contact us for details!

General information about FINGER LAKES METAL FEST;

FLMF 2011 will be on May 21.

FINGER LAKES METAL FEST takes place in upstate New York’s northern Finger Lakes region each year in the spring.

If you would like your band to be considered, all you need is to be a metal band of some sort, with at least a ½ hour of original material and at least one tune we can listen to in its entirety, either online or on CD.
Just submit your band through our myspace page or via email, flmetalfest@spaterrock.com

We expect plenty of bands to want to perform at this event. We would love to have every band that wants in to be able to play a set, but it will not be possible, due to time constraints, to have every band that wants in to perform. So we have developed a selection process, in which a team of reviewers will determine which bands will be invited to perform at this event.

Bands will be selected based on original material among other factors.
We wish to have a variety of different styles of metal bands perform at this event. In other words, we don’t want to hold an event where every band sounds the same, which is often the case with multi band shows these days. Ours should be unique and have something for all types of metal heads of all ages. This will be a no-clone show.

Participating bands will receive some perks, such as drink tickets, commemorative t-shirts with all the bands names or logos on them, camping and all around fun.

We hope to have all bands confirmed by the end of January. Stay tuned for announcements as details become available.

Let us know if you are still interested and we will add you to the list of bands to be considered.

Thanks,
Dave Henninger
FLMF
